Christy Hartburg was born in 1951. Her life before her sudden shoot to fame remains shrouded in mystery.
In the late sixties and early seventies, Christy toured Vietnam alongside the British- American actor, comedian, vaudevillian, singer and dancer Bob Hope. She worked as a performer on his sets before eventually returning to America. She landed her big break in the entertainment industry when Russ Meyer cast her in his sexploitation film ‘ Supervixen.’ Her image was used on the promotional poster for the film making her an instant hit among the gents.
Despite the immense popularity she received from the film, she appeared to be having trouble booking serious roles due to her over-sexualization as she began using the alias Christina Cummings. Following her debut she appeared in the 1979 films ‘ The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo,’ ‘ The Rebels,’ and ‘ B.J and the Bear.’ She once again made an appearance in the 1981 film ‘Margin for Murder.’ In 1982, she landed roles in the films ‘ Wacko’ and ‘Movie Madness.’ The latter film tanked in the ratings but acted as good exposure for Christy. Just as things had begun picking up for Christy she appeared in her final role on ‘ Anna.’ Christy has since disappeared from the screens despite her budding talent.
Christy Hartburg is married to Nick Dimitri. Further details on her personal life remain unavailable to the public.
