By getting inspiration from his father Mugur Sundar who was a renowned choreographer of South Indian Movies Prabhu Deva took up learning classes for Indian as well as Western dancing styles. Prabhu Deva is the brother of Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad. He started his career in 1986 as a playboy in the song “Panivizhum Lravu” and later switched to acting. The well-known artist has choreographed more than 100 movies till now.
Prabhu was first offered a leading role in a romantic movie named “Indhu” which was directed by Pavithran in 1994. Moreover, in 2010 he served as the director and chairman of a dance academy in Singapore named ‘Prabhu Deva’s Dance Academy’. In 2013 he also released his first video album named ‘It is boring’.
