Sheck Wes was born in Harlem to Senegalese parents on the 10th of September, 1998. They moved to the United States where his father worked as a tailor. Later, he started assisting famous American designers like Dapper Dan. Sheck Wes had a difficult childhood as his home burned down to ashes in a fire accident.
